Hands down the best BBQ experience that I had down in the Memphis area. The best dry rub wings, love that they’re smoked then flash fried, I even bought the seasoning for them to try and replicate at home. The potato salad is a sour cream and ranch base, the green beans are buttery and brothy, and the ribs, get them muddy. I’m also usually a chopped brisket kind of guy, but went sliced, loved it here. Would highly recommend coming if you’re in town.
This was our 2nd time dining here while passing through town after discovering it about a year ago. Both times my husband and I split a full rack of ribs, muddy, plus a few sides. Our server was nice enough to throw in an extra red beans and rice for us. I didn't catch his name (he had high braids) but he was prompt & friendly. The complimentary porkrinds are okay but could use a tad more seasoning. The ribs were outstanding & just as tender & delicious as we remembered & the okra was hot & tasty. Beans and cornbread were decent. For dessert this time I got the bread pudding with caramel sauce. Wowzers! It was scrumptious! We reach this place around 3:00 in the afternoon on our drive home from NOLA to St. Louis so probably a quietier time of day. I'm sure it's busier & louder towards the evening. Either way, I give it a 10/10. Highly recommend.
We spent one night in Memphis and knew we had to get BBQ. Well, Memphis BBQ Co DELIVERED. Complimentary pork rinds, friendly service, and a ton of creations with BBQ instead of just the standard BBQ platter options. I got the baked potato loaded with pulled chicken, sour cream, butter, bacon, and green onions. I cannot stop talking about it with my family- it was the perfect size meal and oh so delicious!
Delicious! Stopped by here on iur way to Oxford. For some reason the Blue Moons tasted extra good! I had the Peacemaker which is a sandwich with chopped brisket and pulled pork. Very yummy! Tons of meat! I took off some of the meat and ate it separatly. I got the fried okra on the side. We also go the bread pudding which was also very good. It was not overly sweet even though there were apples and cinnamon on the bottoms. The Carmel sauce wasn't too thick as well. Highly recommend!
I’m not the biggest BBQ fan. But I heard so many suggestions to come and give this place a try. I am very glad that I did. The bartender was amazing. She was very professional and polite. She gave me very good recommendations. I had the Brisket plate with potato salad and red beans and rice. The flavor was amazing and so good. I will be back
WOW! Stopped here off of a recommendation from a riverboat operator up in Hannibal, MO. We are so glad we took it! From the complimentary pork rinds, to the CHEESIEST mac, this place knows food. It was a lot of fun to see the pitmaster's many world champion awards.
